        UNIFIL Report - 11 June 1982.
        UNIFIL team consisting of chiet medical officer, Dutch IegaI advisor, chief engineer officer and senior food officer under the command of the chief humanitarian officer visited Tyre again during the afternoon of 10 June 1982.

        The possibiIities of UNIFIL aid to the inhabitants of Tyre and the refugee group on the beach just south of Tyre was discussed.

        11 June 1982, UNIFIL is aIlowed to provide aid to the refugee groups, these being aImost all PaIestinians. Their conditions are very bad and hygiene conditions are terrible. There is no food and no water. The group consists of approximately 1500 people but in the orchards some kiIometers south of Tyre along the coastal road are some hundreds more. They are not yet allowed to join the group at the beach around the Red Cross clinic.

        Also on 10 June 1982, in the afternoon, a hygiene team was allowed to work in the Red Cross clinic on the beach. The lack of any water in this small hospital limited their efforts.
