         Lebanon: solemn appeal by the IRC on behalf of the population.
         Geneva (ICRC): Yesterday evening, the 10 June 1982 the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) appealed firmly and solemnly to highest authorities of lsrael, demanding that all measures possibles be taken so that civilians, whatever their nationality, be spared in the conflit in Lebanon. Specific mention was made of the fighting in beirut.
